Responsibilities also include addressing program-level instructional design challenges, assisting faculty with the use of custom templates within a variety of Learning Management System, conducting faculty workshops both in person and virtually on industry best practices, and building and cultivating relationships with university faculty, program chairs, and instructional design teams. The instructional designer will be responsible for course development consultation at universities from start-to-finish while consulting on best practices in curriculum design and development, program mapping, implementation of common program elements, online student orientation, technology tool recommendations, and branded university course shells. Reporting to the Director of Instructional Design and Strategy, the Instructional Designer will be a consultant and principal point of contact for university partners’ program leadership and faculty members for course development, quality assurance, and ongoing support efforts related to online courses. ![]()
